Job Description- Sales Support Co-Ordinator

(Based at Orchard House,  Halsall, L39 8RG)


Reporting directly to   The Sales Director.


Purpose of Role:

The co-ordinator will play a key role in supporting the work of the sales director and will provide an important link between him and the clients.



Assisting in creation of all sales related paperwork including:

  • Respond to sales related enquiries.
  • Creation and implementation of quotation enquiry system.
  • Proposals
  • Quotes
  • Agreements
  • Tender documentation
  • Material Take off from Construction Drawings for cost estimation
  • Manage sales director’s diary
  • Develop secure product knowledge within the security industry
  • Build relationships with new and existing customers
  • Liaise with suppliers


Person Specification:


Experience of working within an office environment.

A Secure knowledge of Microsoft Office.

The ability to work to deadlines.

Good communication skills, both written and oral.

To use own initiative to secure best outcomes.

Ability to work with accuracy and precision.



Experience of working within the fire and security industry.

Experience of the competitive tender/sales environment

Experience of working within a successful team.


Salary and benefits

  • Depending on experience between £17,000-£19,000 per annum.
  • Company pension.
  • Bonus scheme
