Fun-draising: Merseyrail Halloween Charity Ball

We had such a fantastic night at the Marriott Liverpool Hotel on Friday for Merseyrail’s Halloween Charity Ball. Champagne, 3 course meal, auctions, raffle, and much more!

The evening was filled with live entertainment, dancing ghouls and zombies who swept through the seating area and onto the dance floor.

Of course there were a few bids placed on the silent auction, which came in! This included a spa weekend break, and signed memorabilia and prints of:

  • Bradley Wiggins – Professional Cyclist
  • George best – Professional Footballer

We even had two raffle prizes come in! 10 tickets to Aintree Races, and a bottle of bubbly and chocolates.  The ‘Spooky Spiders’ were on fire!

All funds raised go directly to Liverpool Women’s Charity, more specifically the Parents’ Accommodation for families on the Neonatal Unit. The accommodation is situated close to the hospital and used by families who have a poorly baby on the Neonatal Unit, meaning they can be close to their child at all times. So do try to get involved with events or any way you can!

Happy Halloween!

Charity Cycle Ride

On Friday 15 May 2015, our Sales Director, Mike Ainscough and a group of friends will embark on a charity cycle ride through Holland.  They will arrive at Rotterdam and begin the 70 mile cycle to Middelburg passing some through some remote areas of Holland.  Following a well-earned rest they will head south to Vlissingen and ultimately to Ghent which is another 45 miles of cycling (excluding the short ferry journey!).

On Sunday they will cycle to Bruges and conclude the journey the following day with a cycle  to Zeebrugge for the ferry home.  Good look to Mike and the Team!!
